This Performing Arts class empowers young talent to choose their own acts and perform live at Open Signal's, Portland Community Media’s "Open Playground". This experiential learning fosters creativity through theater and improv activities, stage instruction, and the thrill of performing in front of an audience. Encourage students to step out of their comfort zones and discover their unique talents!
Open Playground is a weekly (LIVE-to-tape) video production recorded at open Signal. Former and new producers can use these Friday evenings (4-8PM) to record and sharpen there studio production skills. If you have an idea or talent that you would like to share but do not have a certification to use Open Signal studios, we got you!!! Creatives and Non-profits who need video content can utilize this time slot to get Social Media Videos, PSA's, Promos and informative content produced and aired on our channels and online!
