Dr. Uma Jayaram is co-founder & COO of VOKE VR that was acquired by Intel Corp in November 2016. Dr. Jayaram and her husband founded VOKE VR, a virtual reality company that is now based in Silicon Valley.
In this interview we speak to Dr. Jayaram about VOKE VR and virtual reality and how she developed an interest in math and science. Dr. Jayaram credits her mother for shaping her interest in math and sciene. Dr. Jayaram's mother did her graduate studies in engineering in Seattle in the 1950s and went back to India. Many years later Dr. Jayaram came to Washinngton state where she taught at Washington State University in Pullman.
