Fragments from the (W)hole was a two-part lecture and workshop series lead by Jaleesa Johnston and produced by the first + the last. This workshop used Ayana V Jackson's "Compared to What" piece as the base inspiration for participants to explore themes of fragmentation and black femme subjectivity. Participants shot their own photos and created GIFs of their work.
