Bryan and Lili surmise more than 18 months have passed with no new Star Trek: Strange New Worlds episodes on Paramount+ but are thrilled to see the hit TV series return in its third season. The Ambassador and Lili reference the teaser trailer and the fact that the Star Trek: Strange New Worlds series has won two Saturn awards plus, been nominated for two prime time creative arts Emmy awards. Also, news on a new line of Star Trek action figures from the company Nacelle is discussed with Bryan naming all eight action figures. Bryan and Lili continue the second part of their interview with Star Trek original series stuntman and actor Bobby Clark. Clark discusses his work as the Gorn in the episode "Arena", also as the Betan Rioter in "Return of the Archons", Chekov's henchman guard who gets phasered into oblivion in the episode "Mirror, Mirror", plus as a Vaalian native in "The Apple". Clark gives explicit details on why he moves slowly as the Gorn reptilian creature. Bobby Clark also articulates how he did the voice of the Gorn during the shooting of the “Arena” episode but ultimately, they didn't want to bring him back to the studio and hired Ted Cassidy as a voice actor to dub in the Gorn sounds. Lili points out the Ted Cassidy is the same actor who played Ruk in an earlier original series episode. Clark gives details on Gary Combs also being present as a stunt performer in “Arena”, plus how there was a lot of walking and challenges of brush and tumbleweed at Vasquez rocks some being 18 inches tall. Further stories and intricate details into this classic TOS episode as well as Clark’s first Star Trek Gorn convention, connecting with fans and discussing his other Star Trek roles are topics. Clark also talks about playing the role of a father in season three of the TV series "Kung Fu" with David Carradine and more to conclude the 2-part interview.
