Zsa Zsa Janine Christopher shares a subject that is not known by many of us. When the phrase,"Spiritual Direction" is mentioned, the mind instantly searches for an answer and if you come up with the correct answer, you are probably in the minority. Zsa Zsa began her college career studying business. After her father’s death, she realized that she was studying business to satisfy the wishes of her DAD. She began exploring several subjects of interest. Zsa Zsa discovered that Theology and Spiritual Direction felt like “coming home.”
Zsa Zsa completed a three-year training program in Spiritual Direction with the Sisters of St. Joseph, Orange, California and she also graduated with a B. A. In Theology at Loyola Marymount University. She received the honors of having the highest, Grade Points Average of the Theology students, at the time of her graduation.
"Spiritual Direction" is a practice of companionship and guidance in which one person helps another to pay attention to God's presence in their life. It is not counseling or therapy, but focuses on helping an individual grow in their relationship with the Divine.
