Intro to HD Studio

Open Signal's state-of-the-art HD TV studios are unique venues for free speech and creative expression. In this introductory course, you'll get hands-on, practical training in TV production skills—including directing, camera operation, studio lighting and audio recording.

For further skillbuilding, consider taking any or all of our Intermediate HD Studio classes: Studio Lighting, Streaming & Xpression and Studio Audio Board.

Introductory: Aimed at novice media makers, Introductory classes move at a pace for learners who are new to the field of media and want to start building on their skill set.

Certification: Completing this class will allow you to book time in our HD Studios for free.

You will also be able to operate our onsite equipment—including Hitachi Z-HD5000 cameras, Ross Carbonite Switcher teleprompter, XPression graphic system and video switcher.

Additionally, you wil lhave access to our audio . mixer, light boards and you will be able to submit videos to our TV channels!
