Unity II (POSTPONED UNTIL MAY 2020)

Registration is closed for this event
In this Unity workshop, students will learn how to set up a custom third-person controller and use a camera follow system to dynamically track your player in 3D space. Moreover, they will further their knowledge of scripting for interactivity in scenes.

Unity is a cross-platform game engine that can be used to make both three-dimensional and two-dimensional interactive landscapes. With its built-in physics engine and real-time graphics capabilities, the creative possibilities are almost endless.

Students will learn to:
- Use Unity’s Shader Graph to make their own custom materials and update them in real time through code.
- Learn to make key frame animations and blend between animation states.
- Trigger animations and particle effects to make content more visually engaging.
- Learn to manage multiple scenes and load between them including cut scenes.
