NEO | MYTHOS

Join us for the unveiling of NEO | MYTHOS, an outdoor video projection made in collaboration with media artist Jodi Darby and the middle school students of Open School East.

While learning about multimedia platforms, videography, animation, audio recording and projection mapping with Jodi, Open School East students examined the concept of mythos and oral histories while challenging tropes and stereotypes to reimagine and recreate their own mythologies.

The evening will also feature DJ sets from Open School East students and La Paushi of Latinx femme DJ collective Noche Libre, a multicultural dessert feast and a photo booth.
