Our mission is to inspire, encourage, discover and promote the best and most unique women in comedy. This highly curated festival aims to showcase a broad range of styles and perspectives among women in comedy while guaranteeing that every show – and every performer – delivers top notch comedy. Curious Comedy Theater, a non-profit comedy theater in Portland, Oregon, is proud to produce this all-women comedy festival now heading into its sixth year. The festival takes place in early fall each year in Portland and has plans to tour the Best of the Fest around the country and globe. Today, women still represent only 17-19% of the comedy industry. Women are sorely under-represented in high profile comedy festivals, in writing rooms and in television appearances. Industry representatives explain this discrepancy by claiming quality women comedians are hard to find. All Jane was created to help bridge the gap between women comedians, audiences and industry decision-makers. www.alljanecomedy.org www.curiouscomedy.org
